Open Peeps Studio respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

No account required. Open Peeps Studio does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the Service.

Local storage. Your characters and scene data are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share a URL or export a file.

Share URLs. When you copy a share URL, your character or scene configuration is encoded directly in the URL itself (no server storage). Sharing the URL shares that configuration with whoever receives it.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or similar) to understand aggregate usage patterns — page views, feature usage, and geographic region. These tools do not use cookies and do not track you across sites.

Cookies

Open Peeps Studio does not use tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in localStorage on your device.

Third-Party Services

The Service is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server access logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and reliability. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.

Data Retention

Since all user data is stored locally in your browser, you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site. We retain no server-side user data.
